How to Make Glove Monsters

how to make glove monsters

  1. Supplies:
    • gloves
    • batting
    • sewing machine with a roller foot or walking foot attached
    • needle/thread
    • buttons, felt, etc for embellishing
  2. Turn the glove inside out and sew a U-shape from the top of the thumb hole to the other side of the glove leaving a 1″ hole at the top. I used my sewing machine with a roller foot, but you could also hand stitch if you’re allergic to sewing machines. 😉
  3. Turn the glove right side out.how to sew glove monsters
  4. Tuck the cuff inside.
  5. Stuff with batting, making sure to get batting to the end of each of the 4 fingers. It takes only a couple handfuls of batting.
  6. Hand stitch the 1″ hole shut.
  7. Cut facial features out of felt and hand stitch felt, buttons, etc in place.  {Do not use button embellishments for kids under 3 years old, if they came loose, they could present a choking hazard.}
